Depending on how "mincy" you want to get when it comes to what can be defined as "object oriented" -- JavaScript does in fact allow writers to use object-oriented styling in their code.

Also, Flash apps have no real advantage over JavaScript as far as "hiding" source code. All that really goes on with Flash compilation is that the code is obfuscated, minified js, and packed into a bytecode file which is interpreted by the Flash plug-in. JavaScript may also be obfuscated and minified in the same manner. Neither Flash nor JavaScript holds an advantage over the other, unless you count the fact that Flash does the obfuscation/minification automatically (whereas JavaScript doesn't rely on a runtime, so it will run either way you choose to distribute it).
