gray matters cover 120

Neuroscientist Dr. McFadden is performing research into brain disorders with a promising but radical process that may cure Alzheimer’s. Her neural interface experiments with rodents are a complete success, interfacing animal neurons with a computer. The next step will be carefully controlled human trials, but will she wait?

This semi-horror/cyberpunk science fiction short story is a loose tie-in to The Mandate Series with a mention in The Legacy of Earth. The story is written in daily journal format and was formerly titled The Journal of Dr. McFadden.
