Review: Sojourn

SojournSojourn by R.A. Salvatore
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was a VERY satisfying ending to the first Drizzt prequel trilogy, effectively placing Drizzt into Icewind Dale, the setting of the original first novel (The Crystal Shard). I thought the story was a little too predictable during the first half but the second half really picked up the pace and threw some surprises at the reader, quickly building up the scenario for the original trilogy. Each of the three novels was equally enjoyable, but this one was the icing on the cake.
